He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Peterson and Mae Peterson (Hoyne); and his sister Dorothy Lauer. He is survived by: his wife Marjory J. Anderson of Winfield; his children, Mike Peterson (Michele) of Mt. Pleasant, Steve Peterson (LaJeana) of Paris, MO and Julie Gilmore (Jeff) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Kailey, Konnor Peterson, Jenna, Josie Gilmore, Sydney, Sommer and Makenzie Peterson; and his brothers, Warren Peterson (Barb) of Dubuque, Donald Peterson of Ottumwa and Robert Peterson (Georgette) of Knoxville, TN..
