He is survived by: his children, Theresa Marin (Pat) of Fredonia, Jackie Ramirez (Daniel) of Washington and Stephen Zabel, Jr. (Rachel) of Washington; his grandchildren, Clay, Pat Jr., Kylie, Haley, Venessa, Ariel, James, Keith and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Cynthia, Jaydon, Manuel and Julian; his siblings, Keith of California and Carla Wigman of Waterloo; and his nephew Paul Gaede (Michelle).
