He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Byrl Smith and Thelma Smith (Hardin); his children, Curt, Derek, Chris, Richie Smith (Amy), Brent Michel (Daleen) and Dawn Michel; his grandchildren, Cody Brink (Tara), Tasia Hulin (Wheeler) and Lizzy Tranmer; his great grandchildren, Whylee Hulin, Triscety Hulin and Carolina Tranmer; his siblings, Illeana Manship, Nettie Dibben and Leroy Smith; and his wife Donna.
