We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2018, at the age of 88, Martha Ruth Anderson (Cooper, Iowa), born in Port Arthur, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her husband James Walter Anderson; her children, Margaret Anderson Brown (Trey), Sid Anderson and Scott Anderson (Pamela); and her grandchildren, Robert Brown (Laura), Zack Brown, Sara Brown, Grant Anderson, Allyse Anderson, Ryan Anderson and Aiden Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Amy Anderson Literacy Legacy Fund of College Station ISD or the White Oak Education Foundation of White Oak ISD.
