It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Schroder of Coralville, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothea Katherina Schroder (Bostelman) and Orville Schroder; his brother Howard Schroder; and his brother-in-law Ethan Voges. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Schumacher of Coralville; his daughters, Pam Lam (John McVey) of Coralville and Diane Hamer (Andy) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Andy Hamer, Joe Lam (Alex Kertels) and Jessica Haverkamp (Luke); his great grandchildren, Joelle and Nathan Haverkamp; his sisters, Aletha Voges and Rhoda Weinbach (John); and his sister-in-law Karen Schroder.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (1701 8th St, Coralville, IA 52241). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Grass Cemetery (Burnside Ln, Blue Grass, IA 52726).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
