We bid farewell to Harlan Russel Hannam of Coralville, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 83. Harlan Russel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavina Hannam (Beyer) and Herbert Hannam; and his siblings, Darlene Anderson (Hannam), Herb, Duane and Eugene "Bud" Hannam.
He is survived by: his wife Arlys Hannam (Tesch); his daughters, Marilyn Pinney (Randy) of Owasso, OK and Kristine Barksdale (Jerry) of Zionsville, IN; his grandchildren, Tom Welborn (Julia) of Divide, CO, Annie Perkins (Jaret) of Oklahoma City, OK, Ethan Barksdale of Zionsville, IN and Carlin Barksdale of Zionsville, IN; and his great grandchild Griffin Welborn. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (325 Mormon Trek Blvd, Iowa City, IA 52246). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King, Moments Hospice, Iowa City Hospice or the Coralville Public Library.
