He was predeceased by: his parents, Chaim Brownstein and Thelma Brownstein; his brother Sam; and the mother of his children Suzanne Brooks Brownstein. He is survived by: his wife Daphna Ben-Chaim; his children, David Brownstein (BJ Schmitt), Sherrie Hall (Jeff) and Jonathan Brownstein (Angela); his grandchildren, Ethan Doerhoff (Sam), Gabrielle Bonet, Dylan Brownstein and Alexander Brownstein; his sister Ruth Leibowitz; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Brownstein.
