He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Squires and Anna Squires (Kondrat); and his son Robert "Rob" Squires Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Sue" Burgh; his children, Beth Squires of Iowa City and Ryan Squires (Kate) of North Liberty; his grandchildren, Joel Bender, Lilly Bender, Emily Bender and Michael Bender; his siblings, Glade Squires (Roni) of Downingtown and Linda Popowitz (Jeff) of Atlanta, Georgia; and his daughter-in-law Karen Squires of Stoddard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers and plants, the family suggest memorials to The Bob Squires Memorial Fund.
