We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2021, at the age of 90, Gloria Mae August of Corydon, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Lawrence and Sadie Mae Dixon (Powers); and her siblings, Oscar H. Dixon, William W. Dixon and Jeanne M. Dixon.

She is survived by : her daughters, Pamela J. Arthur and Karen M. Orna (Kirk); her grandchildren, Amy R. Orna and Robert W. Orna (Emily); her great grandchildren, Renee E. Pedersen, Madison D. Pedersen, Bella F. Orna, Evan C. Orna and Brooklynn M. Orna; and her brothers, James L. Dixon (Margaret) and Michael S. Dixon (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other extended family.
