He is survived by : his spouse Pamela Simmons; his sons, Gregory McCarty (Trish) of Eddyville and Jon McCarty (Jody) of Bussey; his grandchildren, Ryan McCarty (Ashley), Jared Fritz-McCarty (Chris), MaKenzie McCarty (Aron Burk) and Spencer McCarty (Courtney Johannes); his great grandchildren, Rylyn, Owen, Roston and Layla; his brothers, Jimmy McCarty, Rex McCarty and Johnny McCarty (Jeralee); his sister-in-law Linda McCarty; and his close friend Marquetta Rhoades. He is also survived by several other extended family members and many friends.
