Dorothy H. Baer-Riche Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy H. Baer-Riche of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Brock and Helen Brock (Kane); her former husband Leonard Baer; her husband Robert Riche; and her brothers, Donald, Dale and Louis Brock.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Baer (Darlene) of Moss Point, MS, Cherry Muffley (Mark) of Council Bluffs, Dolores Finken (Gary Pettit) of Council Bluffs, Dian Bergmeier (Jay) of Valley, NE and Boris Baer of Council Bluffs; her sister Louise Bradley (Tom) of Harpers Ferry, VA; and her sister-in-law Marian Brock of Goshen, IN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
The family will direct memorial contributions.
