It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galen Kephart (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross L. Kephart and Lila K. Kephart (Fisher); his wife Margie Kephart; his son Galen Kephart Jr.; and his siblings, Ramona Gearhart, Ronald Kephart and Gary Kephart.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Thomas (Tim Konfrst), Mike Kephart (Denise), Lila Stephens (Joe) and Heather Olsen (Mark); and his siblings, Rosilea Pridgen, Carolyn Larson, Sharon Heywood (Les) and Vickie Collins. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
