He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Holst and Senta Holst (Krohn); his wife Marilyn'Jean'Holst; and his sister Sherri. He is survived by: his sons, Alan Holst (Terri) of Council Bluffs, IA, Brian Holst (Maria) of Omaha, NE and Darran Holst (Dawn) of Omaha, NE.; and his grandchildren, Sarah of Omaha, NE, Nathan of Omaha, NE, Logan of Omaha, NE, Jacob of Omaha, NE and Emmalyn Holst of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Griswold United Methodist Church (100 Cass St, Griswold, IA 51535). Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
