It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaylin V. Hicks of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Hicks and Margaret Hicks (Tripp); his sons, Jason and Aaron Hicks; and his sister Leora Pedersen.
He is survived by: his wife Chris Hicks of Council Bluffs; his daughter Rachel Wellman (Terry) of Neola, IA; his grandchildren, Jerica Doty, Mya Doty and Madelyn Claar; his great grandchild Sage; and his siblings, Jim Legge, Gene Hicks and Doris Hough. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
