She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto E. Guska and Helene Guska (Kupke); her husband Herbert Rossbund; her son Gunter; and her brother Heinz Guska.

She is survived by: her children, Horst Rossbund (Kathy) of Council Bluffs, Helga Calkins (Edward) of Treynor and Marianne Hamilton (Tom) of Council Bluffs; her grandchildren, Krissa Rossbund, Michael Rossbund (Jackie), Becky Lee (Thomas), Angie Holmes (Craig), Gerry Calkins (Ashley), Jim Calkins (Mallory), Rachel Probst (Scott) and Zach Hamilton (Krystle); and her sister Irmgard Reuter of Hanover, Germany. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A prayer was held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (239 Frank St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
