James R. Tews Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 73, James R. Tews of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James R. Tews to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Tews and Ruth Tews (Grundmeier); his sister Diane Marie Tews; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Tews. He is survived by: his wife Susan Wilkins; his daughters, Julia Williamson (Andrew) of Indiana and Sonia Mendez (Vincent) of Texas; his grandchildren, Alexander, Owen Williamson, Scarlett, Lydia and Hera Mendez; and his siblings, Thomas Tews (JoAnn), Kenneth Tews, Jean Schroder (Dennis), Elaine Goodwin, Sandra Cooper, Karen Burns (Robert) and Mary Tews. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
