She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence P. Christiansen and Alice E. Christiansen (Lauridsen); her husband Kenneth D. Girton; and her siblings, Dorothy, Evelyn Riddle, Rosemond Brougham, Pearle Mahrenholz and Gordon Christiansen.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Girton (Celeste) of Wichita, KS, Lisa Faurot (Ed) of Council Bluffs, Kristine Becker (Richard) of Shelby, IA and Erin Marr (Dan) of Bellevue, NE; and her sister Norma Handbury of Arlington, TX. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Nebraska Masonic Home or Saint John Lutheran Church.
