She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Hintz, and Chester Hintz, Sr.; her siblings, Virgil Dillon, Wava Mullens, Chester Hintz, Jr. and Elaine Pierce; and her son John Calmer.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Calmer; her children, Annette Harrah (Ruben), Penni Munger, James Calmer, Dawn Munger and Marcus Calmer; her grandchildren, Brent (Christianna), Shane, Marcus, Kiley, Cody and Dillon; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Gwendolyn, Nadianna, Roman and Benjamin; her sister Kathleen Mahoney (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Janet Hintz (Chester, Jr.) and Charlotte Gottsch (Ted).
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
