We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2025, at the age of 76, Patricia A. Cox (Council Bluffs, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee McConnell and Augusta McConnell (McEvoy). She is survived by: her brothers, Richard and Eugene McConnell; her brothers-in-law, James, Robert, Albert and Rodney Cox; her husband Harold Cox, Sr.; her children, Harold Eugene "Gene" Cox, II (Dawn), Richard "Rick" Cox (Tami) and Jayne Zitek (Joe); her grandchildren, Kimberly Young (TJ), Michael Zitek (Casey), Bradlee Zitek, Abigail Zitek, Nicolas Tedesco, Cheyenne Jacobsen and Scott Foote; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Dom, Elizabeth, Isabella, Devin, Oaklynn, Willow and Averie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
