It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosalie A. Knigge of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bobek and Rose Bobek (Cerny); her husband Bob; and her siblings, George Bobek, Richard Bobek, Betty Jane McMahon and Marian Kastl.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Knigge Jr. (Diane) of Council Bluffs, Jeff Knigge (Susan) of Yutan, NE., Jack Knigge of Council Bluffs and Debbra Landolt (Jerry) of Council Bluffs; and her sisters, Mildred Weinacht of Elkhorn, NE., Joanne Andersen of Omaha and Shirley Carter (Robert) of Omaha. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
