He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Jones and Bessie Jones (Rees); his wife Marjorie M. Jones; his daughter Maxine Marie; his siblings, William H. Jones, Thomas E. Jones, Robert E. Jones, Lester R. Jones and Margaret Elizabeth Jones; his sisters-in-law, Lois Jones, Phyllis Jones and Marion Jones; and his siblings' children, Willis, Wayne, Larry Jones, Sara Patterson and Marsha Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Margaret Clark (Henry) of Kansas City, Missouri and Betty Jane Miller (Hugh) of Riverside, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Marjorie I. Jones of Wellman, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Salem Welsh Presbyterian Church.
