Floyd left this world on May 4, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Belt and Lilian Belt (Palmasano); his wife Ellie Belt; and his sister Pauline Cherney. He is survived by: his children, Floyd Belt Jr., Richard Belt (Wendy), Winnie Belt (Kyle) and Melissa Lewis (Andrew); and his sister Theresa Hagge. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crescent Cemetery (911 Old Lincoln Hwy, Crescent, IA 51526).
