He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Ruth Marxen (Brown) and Donald Marxen; his siblings, Steve Marxen, Rob Marxen and Barb Johnson; and his nephew Clint Marxen.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Betty Marxen of Lenox, IA and Connie Marxen of Creston, IA; his sibling's children, Becky Smith (Mike) of Lenox, IA, Brandy Wagner (Jack) of Cromwell, IA, Brenda Njus (Tim) of Waverly, IA, Leah Glasgo (Kelli) of Ft. Dodge, IA, Brianne Lohoff (Keegan) of Creston and Dustin Weihs of Canada; his daughter Gabrielle Marxen of Surprise, AZ; his uncle Ed Brown (Bobbie) of Clovis, CA; and his aunt Helen Shepherd of Hemet, CA. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, a great-great nephew, other relatives and many friends.
