With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Lindemann of Dakota City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Marcellus and Emma Marcellus (Jacobs); her husband Marvin Lindemann; her daughter Michelle; her grandchildren, Kirsten and Kaleb Greufe; and her parents-in-law, Carl, Leona Lindemann (Bowen), Carol and Wendell Fortner.

She is survived by : her children, Denise Lindemann of Humboldt, Mary Kay Bruihler (Carl) of St. Peter, Michael Lindemann (Michelle) of Humboldt and Sandra Greufe (Randy) of Blairsburg; her grandchildren, Kelsi, Cody (Sara), Colton Lindemann (Maddie), Bente, Jacob, Aaron, Sarah Bruihler, Kaleigh, Levi, Landon Greufe, Ashlee Jensen (James), Jayda (Kyle) and Weston Henson; and her brother Kenneth Marcellus (Nancy Decker) of Brewster. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service (612 2nd Ave S, Humboldt, IA 50548). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (1212 Sumner Ave SW, Humboldt, IA 50548). A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Indian Mound Cemetery (2495 Gotch Park Rd, Humboldt, IA 50548).
