He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Dencklau and Lois Dencklau (Dencklau). He is survived by: his wife Luann K. Wigans of Dakota City; his children, Krista Rose (Mike) of Kansas City and Jamieson Dencklau of Humboldt; his grandchildren, Carter, Dani Rose, Ryah, Pax, Zaharah Dencklau and Tayeton Lohaus; and his siblings, Jerry Dencklau (Marian) of Thor, Joel Dencklau (Jan) of Thor and Christine Wood (Harry) of Des Moines. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service (612 2nd Ave S, Humboldt, IA 50548). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Victory Church (905 1st Ave N, Dakota City, IA 50529).
