Earl Lafayette Harris Obituary

We bid farewell to Earl Lafayette Harris of Dallas Center, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Earl Lafayette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sr. Harris and Mary Evelyn Harris (Ozman); his son Bradley; his former wife Cari; and his grandson Zachary.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Leighton; his children, Rodney, Marilyn, Vicki and Nikki (Randy); his daughter-in-law Yan; and his pet Riley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dallas Center Church of the Brethren (1301 Ash St, Dallas Center, IA 50063). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Antelope Park Church of the Brethren.
