He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bensley and Alma Bensley (Bisbee); his wife Velda Pratt; his great grandchild Jakob Mash; and his siblings, Warren, Norval, Merle, Marion and Alice Beers.
He is survived by: his children, Gary of Elkhart, Sheryl Clark (Lynn) of Colfax, Dianna Bennett and Marie Hein (Greg) of Dallas Center; his brother Harvey Bensley; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Ballard and Cathy Bensley. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren.
