She was predeceased by : her parents, John T. McNeeley and Caroline O. Hedlund McNeeley; her husband Earl Garrels; her son David; her grandson Travis Hite; and her siblings, Gilbert Wayne, Ronald, John, Roger, Alice Lite, Ruby Messer, Velma Lyons and Margaret Berry.
She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Hite (Jerry) of Danville and Kenneth Garrels (Sandy) of Danville; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Garrels of Wever. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister.
