She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Morris and Ethel Marie Bohlen Asby; her son Paul; her children-in-law, Cindy Murray Schroder and Robert Heffelfinger; and her brother David Asby.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Heffelfinger of Danville, David of Danville and Miles (Jeana) of Danville; her daughter-in-law Kelly Schroder of Red Oak; her grandchildren, Heather Henkelvig (Trent), Allison Jones (Ken), Elizabeth Schroder, Tony Schroder, Alexandra Nelson, Calleen Nelson and Nicholas Nelson; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Addy, Hayden, Sawyer, Rylee, Penelope, Olivia and Logan; her sister Mary Ann Root (Larry) of Cedar Rapids; and her sister-in-law Margie Asby of Solon.
A memorial has been established for the Danville Community School District Foundation.
