With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Jean Hoye of Davenport, Iowa, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Marcella Anna Levin (Roelle) and Albert Lewis Levin; her brother-in-law James Hoye; her husband David Hoye of Every, IA; and also, Katherine Hoye and Harry Hoye.

She is survived by : her daughters, Michelle Lees (Mike) of Pierre, SD and Stephanie Duffek (Mike) of Tabor, SD; her grandchildren, Marcella Lees (Omar Syed), James Lees, John Lees, Jayne Lees, Emily Duffek and Jenna Duffek; and her sister Carol Burnette (Tom) of Midlothian, IL..

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hope Lutheran Church (206 N Washington St, Everly, IA 51338). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at the Lone Tree Cemetery (1257 350th St, Everly, IA 51338).
