She was predeceased by: her husband Steven Van Besien; and her father Roland Gapinski. She is survived by: her mother Pat Gapinski; her brothers, Ron (Cindy) and Greg Gapinski (Debra); her aunt Mary Goulet; and her siblings' children, Amber, Ranger and Wayne.
