He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mathias and Rosalie Mathias (Paterson). He is survived by: his former wife Patty O'Hare; his daughters, Wendy (David Berg) and Tammy (Dave Tunis); his grandchildren, Cody Berg, Ethan Hausch, Zachary Hausch and Sophie Tunis; his stepgrandchildren, Jacque, Emily and Abbi; his great grandchild Ivy; and his brothers, Lon Mathias (Belinda) of Mississippi and Tom Mathias (Mary) of Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be determined.
