He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Weerts and Esther C. Weerts (Flesner); his former wife Sandra Dale Mensching; and his sister Mary Sue Ann Weerts. He is survived by: his pet Petland; his daughters, Suzy and Gina; his wife Wanda "T. R." of Minocqua, WI; his daughter Suzanne Dale (Michael Freshwater) of Bettendorf, IA; his son-in-law Jordan Wand of Portland, OR; his granddaughters, Sophie Dale and Lily Wand; his brother E. Robert; and his sister-in-law Karen Weerts of Highlands Ranch, CO.
