She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Thompson and Alo Thompson; and her sister Sheila Dolan. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Pauly; her children, Pennie Sierra (Tom) and Ted Pauly (Amy); her grandchildren, Candace Watt, Staci Clevenger, Connor Pauly (Cassidy), Collin Pauly, Phiona Pauly and Francesca Pauly; and her great grandchildren, Autumn, Hayden, Stella and Luci.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (333 W Lotte St, Blue Grass, IA 52726).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Janaan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
