He was predeceased by: his father Gary Funte; and his uncle Ed Funte. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Funte (Murphy); his wife Tasha Funte of Davenport, IA; his children, John Funte, Jr. of Davenport, IA and Samantha Funte of Davenport, IA; his siblings, Lisa George of Eldridge, IA, Tami Fields of Davenport, IA and Terry Funte of Davenport, IA; and his aunt Nelda Mueller (Bob) of Charlestown, IN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
