He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wolters and Alice Wolters (Gentry); his brothers, Richard Walters (Jane) and Rolland; and his sister-in-law Evette Wolters.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce of Galesburg, Illinois; and his children, Debra Purdy of Fort Pierce, Florida and Paul Wolters (Sharon) of Davenport. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
