The memory of Laura Longley of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jamison and Gladys Jamison (Pence); her daughter Deb Sandry; and her brothers, Robert and Marvin Jamison.
She is survived by: her children, Kristina Sanders of Walcott and Jim Longley of Winterset, Iowa; her son-in-law Bill Sandry of Davenport; and her grandchildren, Aaron Sandry (Casey), Becca Sandry (Brian Davison), Adam Longley, Peter Longley, Malayna Sanders and Madyson Sanders. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bentley Funeral Home (1001 6th St, Durant, IA 52747). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1814 Lucas St, Muscatine, IA 52761).
Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital.
