It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madonna Lee Hughes of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles LeRoy and Evelyn Adrian; her husband Robert Francis Hughes; her children, Daniel Hughes and Kathleen Sadler; her brother Robert Adrian; and her sister-in-law Patricia Adrian.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hughes (Jennifer), Patricia Paulsen, Thomas Hughes (Debra), Charlie Hughes (Georgia), Mary Mayo, Karen Kershaw (Mike) and Ralph Hughes (Annette); and her friend Leo Moench. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (2618 Boies Ave, Davenport, IA 52802). A Mass was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Croix Hospice.
