She is survived by : her children, Lucia Mendez, Laura Mendez of Davenport and Salvador Mendez of Nashville, Tennessee; and her mother Maria. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 siblings; and a host of nieces and nephews.
