Norma L. Bass Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma L. Bass of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Norma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Weldon and Vernice Weldon (Davis); her husband LD Bass; and her son Paul "Butch" Arbuckle. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Brewer (Derek) of Davenport and Gene Bass of Davenport; her grandchildren, Keenan Garrett, Quincy Garrett and Kalisha Garrett; and her great grandchildren, Keevan Garrett, Kelis Garrett and Keymoni McGuire.
