She was predeceased by : her parents, Patrick Holloway and Marguerite Holloway; and her pet Angus. She is survived by : her significant other Colin Macumber; her children, Amber Smith (Tim), Ian Macumber (Megan) and Kasey Heaton (Jeron); her grandchildren, Cora, Willa Smith, Ryder, Hudson and Liam Macumber; her sisters, Vivienne Holloway and Siobhain Hayashi (Peter); her nephews, Sean, Connor Allchin and Kai Hayashi; her aunt Joan Currie; her mother-in-law Sandra Macumber; her sisters-in-law, Wendy Laude and Holly Latulippe (Mike); and her close friend Cindy Schulte.

Memorials in Paulene's name may be made to The Humane Society of Scott County, or to King's Harvest Animal Rescue.
