It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis M. Bassett of Davenport, Iowa, born in New York, New York, who passed away on April 6, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Schorr and Marie Schorr (Zuiderwyk); and her brother Cliff Schorr. She is survived by : her husband Thomas M. Bassett; and her siblings, Barbara Rivera (Lou), Kathy Wetzel (Lee), Tom Schorr (Kim) and Ann Zacheeo (Richard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Homewood Evangelical Free Church (3303 60th St, Moline, IL 61265). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
