He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Myers and Mary Myers (Veihl); his children, Sharon Foley, Traci Brown and Brian Foley; his son-in-law Chuck Dibbern; and his sister Linda Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Myers; his children, Kelly Myers (Dana), Rusty Foley (Angie), John Foley (Lori) and Sue Dibbern; his grandchildren, Bennett Foley (Alaina), Brandon Foley (Ashley), John Foley, Jr., Joey Foley, Isaac Dibbern and Jessica Cox (Scott); his brother Mickey Cartwright; and his sibling's children, Mick Cartwright, Ryan Myers and Brandy Cartwright-Edwards. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
