It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Axman of Dedham, Iowa, who passed away on July 13, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Kasperbauer and Anna Kasperbauer (Sterner); her husband Russell Axman; her son Rick Axman; her children-in-law, David Schmitz and Patty Axman; her grandchildren, Ronda Downey and Michael Schmitz; and her siblings, Walford Kasperbauer, Irene Fowler and Rita Morris.

She is survived by : her great grandchildren, Cade, Finlee Ebbers, Anna Catalina and Becca Giraldo; her children, Pam Schmitz of Omaha, Bill Axman of Carroll and Terry Axman of Carroll; her sister Sharon Grote of Fonda; and her sisters-in-law, Marcy Cook (John) of Carroll and Carol Ann Axman of Dedham. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
