He was predeceased by: his wife Dixie Unger of Norfolk, Nebraska.; his brother Arlyn DeBlauw; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Bauermeister, LeRoy Unger and Marie DeBlauw; and his nephew Adam Unger.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Castle (Travis), Jenny Moser (Jeff) and Tom DeBlauw (Cassie); his grandchildren, Ty Castle (Cori), Trey Castle, Tori Castle, Jordyn Juhl (Kyle), Jared Moser, Joey Moser, Noah DeBlauw and Emily DeBlauw; and his great grandchildren, Scottie Lynn Castle and Campbell Jaymes Juhl.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
