Charlie Ruschill Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2025, at the age of 87, Charlie Ruschill of Denmark, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlie Ruschill to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Walter and Viola May Huppenberger Ruschill; his brother Frank; his sister-in-law Alice Ruschill; and his great grandchild Abigail Faith Hoenig.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Ruschill of Denmark; his daughters, Pamela Hoenig (Bill) of Denmark, Paula Nolte (Kevin) of Denmark and Niki Waterman (Tony) of West Point; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Wilson (Nick), Cullen Hoenig (Angelica), Chris Hoenig and Nick Nolte (Dezeray); his great grandchildren, Markey Jo Hoenig, Cainen Hoenig, Sophie Wilson and Scotlyn Hoenig; and his nephew Steve Ruschill (Lynne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601).
A memorial has been established for the Denmark Fire and Rescue Department.
