She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Geneva Ohnemus Farrell and Gerald "Jerry" James Farrell Sr.; her stepmother Jewel Halterman; her husband Lawrence Moody; and her siblings, Shirley Goering and Bill Halterman.
She is survived by: her sons, David Farrell and Joshua Farrell; her daughters-in-law, Christine Stocker and Heather Latshaw; her grandchildren, Riley, Kyer, Mackenzie, Dravin, Shaylee, Krissia, Trinida and Kaiden; her great grandchildren, Ronnie and Kohen; and her siblings, Gerald "Jim" Farrell Jr. (Jeanne), Patrick Farrell, Kaye Knust (Cory), Judy Hastings (Roger), Merrilynn Harter, Sandi Fell (Mike), Karen Pullen, Randy Halterman (Cindy) and Delbert Halterman (Marty). She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Lacona (104 S Washington Ave, Lacona, IA 50139). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolyn's family in care of her son, Joshua Farrell, and will be designated at a later date.
