He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Goldie; his sister Diane; and his parents-in-law, LeRoy, Mary Lee, Andy, Jesse and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Edie; his children, Catherine, Daniel, Stephen and Jonathan; his brother David; his sibling's children, Kenneth, Andrew and Laura; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Carolyn, Jocelyn, Robert, Josh, Issac, Samuel, Leah, Lily, August, Asher, Grace, Luke and Jack.
The family held a private funeral this week and asks that any donations made in Dan's honor go to Lutheran Church of Hope in Waukee, IA.
