He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Hickman and Blanche Hickman; his wife Karen Ann Hickman; his daughter Kaleen Riddle; his son-in-law Bud Riddle; and his siblings, Jimmy and Betty.

He is survived by : his son Donnie Hickman; his grandchildren, Jared Hickman (Jasmine), Rachel Hickman (Tyler) and Robert Riddle; and his brothers, Steve Hickman (Kathy) and Bill Hickman (Marilyn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and countless friends.
