She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Holmes. She is survived by: her sister Beverly Kauzlarich of Indianola; her daughters, Donna Davis (Mike) of Des Moines and Carol Renda (Thomas) of Altoona; and her pet Acorn. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
